Thanks for looking into this. I didn't know rasterio had this option.

I didn't know rasterio had this option.

It's quite new, it was added in December and only included in the 1.4 alpha and beta releases.

…t allows passing Rasterio's new opener argument from the RasterLayer.from_file() method. This allows for easier reading of gzip files, among others.
