@hansw-nlo Can you try other version like Appimage or Appimage Nightly, I still can't figure out why this is happening.

I will need to plan that. Running it on a system where I have some private vm's installed too. Do you mean the one listed here on git?

@prateekmedia

Yes if you can, also there is no risk as AppImage only access the ~/Applications generally

I cloned a debian vm and ran it as a user (not flatpak) and this does work. That does not seem to be broken. Nice.

This was a nightly build b.t.w.

I will not install it on my main machine yet since there is no way to checksum the images. (sha256). Are you planning to deliver them too?

Conclusion for now is that the provided instance on flatpak is not working.

Same for the provided downloads, Is there a way to include checksums there too? And who is checking code for security issues?

@prateekmedia

@hansw-nlo Generally github releases are security checked, Idk if checksums are required or not.

@prateekmedia Well, generally is not enough for everyone. One of the reasons companies use Linux might be a plan where there is always a check to prevent installing hijacked software from/within distro's. Apt, used by a lot of Debian like distro's checks every piece of software.
