Name: The Graph Foundation Awards $48M Grant to The Guild to Join The Graph as a Core Developer
Description of Use: The Guild team joining forces with other core developers in The Graph to build the best API solutions for dapp developers. The team’s experience is unparalleled and this commitment signifies a major shift in developer attention from web2 to web3.
Footnote: The Guild will port common GraphQL JS libraries to Rust: porting certain APIs to Rust to unlock integrations with Graph Node and other web3 protocols to allow for features like scheme stitching and transformations
gRPC
Name: Kubernetes 1.23 Released with Improved Events, gRPC Probes, and Support for Dual-Stack
Description of Use: gRPC probes have been introduced to enable developers to improve the resiliency of applications by adding liveness or readiness probes, not only for the HTTP or TCP protocols, but for gRPC
Title: Why are edges and their properties second class citizens?
Description: It's really hard to work with edges, their directions and their properties in Graphql. We are basically forced to create nodes that interconnect nodes.
Description: Following the launch of OpenAPI version 3.1.0, there were so many interesting topics for the community to explore that we created specific Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
Description: The main difference with this variant proposal is two editors instead of one, and though this may seem more impractical, I will attempt to prove why it may be even more practical.
Title: Data Mesh Architecture and the Role of APIs & JSON Schemas
Description: Data Mesh and APIs are much more closely related than you may realize. In fact, APIs and their close cousin JSON Schemas are foundation components of the Data Mesh.
Title: Deploy OpenAPI enabled Azure Functions with .NET in Visual Studio
Description: @justinchronicle demos his extension and shows us how easy it is to get HTTP-triggered #dotNET functions with OpenAPI support and deploy an Azure Functions app with Azure API Management from #VisualStudio.
