Similar to #3172 , but for data explorer tabs opened directly from a file

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1. Open a parquet file
2. Observer data explorer tab opens
3. Reload the UI (desktop window or browser tab)

The data explorer tab is missing

Expected or desired behavior:

The data explorer tab to reload

Were there any error messages in the UI, Output panel, or Developer Tools console?
