[Feature Request] Time Applet to include Day-of-Week on panel #779

It would be useful to have the weekday visible on the panel itself, currently it is shown only in the popup.

Possible this could be included in a set of formatting options to select desired output like we currently have the 'Show Seconds' option.

So as not to be unwieldy, maybe allow the month number to have a short-form e.g.
