The next version of the Office 365 CLI will be v3 and is planned to be released on September 6.
The most noticeable change will be the new name: CLI for Microsoft 365 and a new package name @pnp/cli-microsoft365. v3 will contain a number of evolutionary changes including cleaning up obsolete commands and options that were deprecated in v2.
We encourage you to try v3 beta and update your scripts to ensure that you won't be affected when v3 is released. Try it today by running npm i -g @pnp/cli-microsoft365.
v2.13 is the last v2 version of Office 365 CLI. While v2 will stay available and you can keep using it, we will no longer be working on it.
