Plug Data and param retention.

My Pure Data project is called "Ekkko Station" and uses MIDI cc as the main communication between physical performance and the PD envonment. I was hoping Plug Data could host it so it would run in DAWs. My issue is that I'm trying to forward hardware MIDI cc messages from hardware MIDI controllers to the PD environment hosted in Plug Data but it is proving impossible. The issue is that the MIDI cc forwarding method is not simple. [ctlin] objects in PD are rendered useless once inside the Plug Data host in a DAW and do not pass MIDI CC info to the patch from the hardware no matter what controller, platform or DAW. When the DAW files is saved and reloaded the params have dissapeared from the patch.

I have been trailing the net for an answer to this and what I'm getting back is that Plug Data cannot retain params created in a Pure Data patch so that they are remembered/restored on reload. Every single time I have tried to implement this, seems to point to this issue.
