Transect Distances are not accurate

Calculating transect distances right now is just using some standard latlng offset. This is not a good idea since 10m in latlng space in one place wont be the same as another. I believe the correct way to do this would be to calculate the region paths in UTM space then convert it to latlng and send it to the boat/draw it.
