AutoLock with delay does not work

When I have screen lock enabled with 'Secure with PIN', set autolock with a delay, this application will always lock my screen, instead of just turning it off.

I would like have this app just to turn off the screen without locking it, that's the behavior if I used the power button. Otherwise, i have to enter my PIN very time I flip my case open.
