Hey 👋 These are really very useful things to do, also they are already in our plans. Right now our focus is to be able to develop and improve Planka every day. There are a lot of organizational and monetary issues to be resolved. Once we solve that, we're sure to implement a lot of ideas. And thank you all for the feedback and ideas, it's much appreciated! |

First of all, I want to give a huge Thanks to all out there how helped on this project!
Planka is one of the best tools I found which actually looks good and works!
I played around with around 7 or 8 others, but either they don't work properly or they look just ugly.
Therefore, props to you guy's you're doing an amazing job!
But as good as Planka already is, in my use case (and maybe also others) there are two features i kinda miss from services like Trello.
The first one would be public boards/projects.
My personal use case would be to let Users know on what I'm currently working. I develop Plugins and with a Public board, every user could easily see what's on the plan and what's already done.
A possible way to implement this could be a public user which can be activated/deactivated.
If you open up a URL, you would automatically get logged in as this public user.
To make a Project public, you therefore only need to assign the public user to your board.
The second idea is a more advanced one.
This one would be automatic actions.
For example, if I create a card in the column to-do, it will automatically create a synced card on another board.
Some possible triggers for actions may be "card created", "card deleted", "card edited", "tag edited" or "user assigned".
Possible actions could be "Sync card to: ", "Add Tag" or "assign user"
This would help to organize large boards/projects easily.
