About

This plugin allows to customize locales via the OJS/OMP/OPS GUI. The default locales are replaced but not overwritten and can easily be restored. A simple documentation can be printed that lists all changes made to the locales. The locales can be customized in the tab 'locale' in management > settings > website. There is a search function for files and for locale keys within the files. The documentation can be printed in the plugin's settings section.

Upgrading From A Previous Version

  • OJS/OMP/OPS 3.3: The plugin will take care of updating the locale files by itself once it's enabled.

  • OJS/OMP/OPS < 3.3: Please refer to the "Upgrading From A Previous Version" in the stable-3_3_0 branch.

System Requirements

This plugin is compatible with OJS/OMP/OPS. Use the Plugin Gallery to install the plugin in order to ensure that you are using a compatible release.

Installation

This plugin can be installed by Site Administrators in compatible versions from the Plugin Gallery within the software.

It can also be installed by uploading the .tar.gz file of the appropriate release from https://github.com/pkp/customLocale/releases into the Plugins area of the application (available to Site Administrators only).
