GDPR-compliance improvements
Notable changes:
-
Minor: Broken comment listing removed from topics, since its usefulness isn't clear and it's broken anyway.
-
Running for an election and partaking in political discourse are things that people may not want to publicize too broadly in the future. To prevent search engines and third parties (such as potential employers) from finding ancient bids or comments too hastily, we now require a login to see older election results and issue comments. User profiles are also entirely put behind a login wall for the same reason.
-
User is required to accept the use of cookies before they are used. Login and registration views are disabled until they are allowed.
Massive interface update
A change of direction in the user interface, too widespread to properly describe in text.
