There seems to be some wrong call to "kill" in the script #17

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run autocrack

Here's the output (truncated at the relevant part):

It looks like you have festival installed, have you tried the tts option?

That part which start with "kill: usage: ...." seems to indicate there's a 
wrong call to kill somewhere in the script
