Query: Is any change on ZoteroPortable will affect the installed zotero on my individual PC?

Dear author, Thanks for your repo.
And I would like to use ZoteroPortable in a flash drive, which is convenient for me to use Zotero on the library's computer. But I'm afraid of that changes I do to ZoteroPortable, like storage location, will affect the installed version of Zotero on my individual PC. I will be delighted that PDF's note being sync, but I don't want my PC's Zotero to malfunction.
So can you please tell me what changes on ZoteroPortable will affect my installed version of Zotero?
By the way, I use webDav to sync files on Zotero. I planed to change the setting of 'sync files' to 'as needed' on ZoteroPortable of my flash drive and change the download location to the flash drive.

Well, I don't see how using ZoteroPortable on a flashdrive will affect Zotero on you PC.
