The old version was more intuitive. Some wizard like:

  • Add profile > Provider...
  • Select provider
  • Select VPN protocol
  • (depends on VPN protocol → Enter OpenVPN credentials / Push WireGuard key)
  • Done

Easier:

  • New provider...
  • Select VPN protocol
  • Create profile with VPN module and on-demand
  • Present new profile with VPN module selected
