It is very likely that a kubernetes user encounter CRDs.
CRDs are everywhere:

  • Backups reguliers (Velero)
  • Alerts (Prometheues)
  • VMs (Kubevirt)
  • Infrastructure (Crossplane)
  • CI/CD (Tekton)

So having gentle introduction to CRDs and CR may be very helpful.
