Describe the Enhancement

Possible Solution

Stop installing and using richgo. Just use go commands instead.

Motivation

Upstream recommendations are to no longer use richgo. https://github.com/kyoh86/richgo#notice-what-i-think-about-richgo

Color is nice, but ultimately not that necessary in CI. We should just remove richgo and use standard go output.

Devs can keep using richgo locally or switch to to something else, if they want. That's independent of what we do in CI.
