App cannot launch on macOS Sonoma #96
Comments
You can check the various options in System Settings.app → Privacy & Security and see whether the app shows up there. I don't however see, why the EPUB-Checker should require access to any of these permissions. So if this manages to fix your issue, please let me know. |
Sadly there is no trace of the app in any page of System Settings > Privacy & Security |
Is Java installed on your device? |
I have exactly the same situation that Cellomaster87 described, likely due to a "don't allow" to the cryptic permission request when first running. Something about bash needing access… I've attempted to add the app to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility, but to no avail. Any idea what would have needed permission when first running on a 15.1.1 Mac OS, and how to get that permission set again? To Kamik423's question, in my case I do not appear to have a Java application installed. |
Nevermind. Installed Java (despite the onerous license warning), and it works fine. |
I have tried this several times, plus erasing the app, downloading it again, and trying once more.
The app doesn't launch, or crashes during launch, on macOS Sonoma.
I may have accidentally chosen "Don't Allow" on the request to access "SystemEvents.app" in the beginning.
Now I do not know where to give that permission back, if that is the issue.
What can I do for this?
