I have a encrypted 7zip file. We were using it with Version 9.20.1 ealier and this file was recognised as 7zip . Function CHandler::Open() returned a non S_FALSE value
But with latest version 17.05 it returns S_FALSE. It is the same behaviour with version 16.02 as well. Thus failing it to recognise as 7zip.
This is how the 7zip was created.
Create an empty txt file
Right click , 7-zip -> Add to archive -> Archive formet : 7z
Select option : Encrypt file names .
Enter an Encryption password
Press ok
This 7z is not recognised. If you skip step 3 ie: DO NOT TICK " Encrypt file names" , it starts to recognise it as 7zip
Question:
Is this changed on purpose?
Any work around that it starts recognising the files with " Encrypt file names" SET as 7zip ???
