framework: support client on windows #19
Comments
Especially to test owncloud/client#60 this gets more priority. |
can smashbox be executed on windows as is or do we need put development effort into this? @nickvergessen @PVince81 ideas? THX |
Will give this a try tomorrow, when I'm close to my windows desktop PC |
It is not supported and will require some dev work to get it working. |
Yes, but that would really make a difference for the client. |
topic for 8.2 then - nothing to do as of now |
let me first bring smashbox on linux properly up and running - next will be windows |
oh - what about mac? |
I think Mac is supported - I haven't tried it myself though. It's possible that Kuba has done the windows work. We might want to check the CERN repo? Let me know if you need help getting smashbox running. |
I was more asking if we want to have smashbox on mac within the ci setup - this will add additional work on my desk (no whining - I'm happy to take care about that) |
Well, I don't think Mac is as important as Windows, because Mac is (client wise) similar to Linux. Windows is very different. |
Make the rundir unique per loop and testset
