Pre-requisites

apt install zip

Upgrading/Sync with existing Terraform provider

  • install gh CLI
  • Install upgrade-provider CLI
  • create and retrieve your GitHub Personal access token (PAT)
  • export it:
$ export GITHUB_TOKEN="<your-gh-pat>"
  • execute the upgrade-provider CLI:

If the provider is already up to date:

$ upgrade-provider ovh/pulumi-ovh

  • Add new TF resources in provider/resources.go file and execute the command again and again.

  • A new Pull Request will be created at this step.

  • After approving and merging the PR, create a new tag and push it. A GH action will run and push the packages.

Changes without upgrade

  • Edit provider/resources.go file for example

  • Re-build the SDKs

$ make build
  • When everything is done, create a new git tag
