Hello, I am not fully sure if this is the place to suggest a NEW location for Southeast Europe/Southeastern Europe.
Since it is infrastructure roadmap/issues etc..

Based on your local zones roadmap (https://www.ovhcloud.com/sites/default/files/styles/large_screens_1x/public/2024-11/maplocalzones.png)

I've seen that for Southeast Europe/Southeastern Europe we have Sofia, Bulgaria and Bucharest, Romania at the time of this comment.

I know that DC (Datacenter) building is not a easy task/stuff to build and to invest into.

I am suggesting in the upcoming years, OVH to consider a strategic DC and build one for Southeast Europe/Southeastern Europe in some of these countries:

  • Sofia, Bulgaria
  • Bucharest, Romania
  • Ankara, Turkey

Including VPS, Cloud, Dedicated servers, Game servers, all kind of stuff (what a normal DC would offer).

I hope this reaches to the right people, especially Octave Klaba.

Please vote up and share some thoughts.

If this is really possible in feature years, maybe from 2027-2028.. or if OVH have been really thinking of or had plans for southeast datacenter.
Much countries that are not in western europe, central europe will benefit from lower ping, local datacenter (depends) and not only.
I am giving a vote for Sofia, Bulgaria if this matters.

I am also expecting no new datacenters until they finish their local zone plans and after that a one year pause maybe. This is just my guessing and opinion.

Anyways, this is really a good suggestion.
