Code of Conduct

As contributors and maintainers of the Thalia project, we pledge to foster an inclusive and welcoming community. We value the participation of every individual and endeavor to create a positive and respectful environment for everyone. 🌟

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment include:

  • Demonstrating empathy and kindness towards others 💖
  • Being respectful of differing opinions and experiences 🤝
  • Giving constructive feedback and criticism in a considerate manner 📝
  • Welcoming newcomers and helping them to navigate the project 🚀

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or derogatory language ❌
  • Personal attacks or insults 🚫
  • Trolling, derogatory comments, or inflammatory remarks 🙅‍♂️
  • Public or private harassment 🛑
  • Any other conduct that could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting 🚷

Enforcement Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards of acceptable behavior. They have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned with this Code of Conduct or to ban temporarily or permanently any contributor for behaviors that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful. 🛡️

Reporting Guidelines

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, please report it by contacting the project team at [email protected]. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly. 🔍
