support for local repositories in fink

Opening local repositories with the web editor would forego the need to login, clone a remote repo and push and pull changes to be reflected in my local repository.

Proposal

lix should support opening a local repository instead of cloning a repo from remote :)

• no need to sync anything. all apps operate on the same files. See design principle #1 of lisa
• way simpler to implement.
• works for every app that builds on lisa.
• all your advantages are auto supported if lisa can open local repos :)

Not far if we deem opening local repos important. For now, nailing remote repos is more important.

FYI implementing the opening of local files in lix is in any case easier than your proposed solutions. Thus, the question is not "can we implement an interim fix through a message channel or similar without lix". The answer is no. If we invest the resources into the interim fix, we can directly invest the resources into lisa and get quicker results that work for any lix app.
