Customizability

For my particular use case, it would be useful to customize some of the generated code, such as the request function and the OpenAPIConfig type. Is there an already established way to do this? Does anyone know of a hacky way to do this?

@cainspencerm these are deprecated features from the original package, I'd suggest looking at the issues/wiki there and see if anyone got it working!

The repo owner can't upgrade currently due to the changes not working on all platforms. It's an open source project and I'm assisting with a feature implementation. Do you know of a way to do it on the older version?
