OAuth Redirect Proxy not working

I'm trying to build a plugin that needs the user to authenticate their Twitch account. I'm trying to get the access token through the deep-link system, but as Twitch OAuth only accepts https:// URLs, I tried giving it the Redirect Proxy instead, but while Twitch redirects correctly to oauth2-redirect.elgato.com, my browser stays on that site, and doesn't continue to the streamdeck:// URL to send the message to my plugin. Trying to manually change the URL does let my plugin receive the message, but I can't get to it.
