Ability to create custom loop widgets

Prerequisites

• I have searched for similar feature requests in both open and closed discussions and cannot find an existing request.
• I have verified that the feature is still missing from the latest stable versions of Elementor or Elementor Pro.

What problem is your feature request going to solve? Please describe..

The current version of Elementor Pro only support two types of loops: The loop grid and the loop carousel. And I guess the are more possibilities, like for example a loop timeline. Elementor has the ability to create custom widgets, but unfortunately not the control option to create a custom loop widget.

Describe the solution you'd like.

It would be nice if there would be a API for creating custom loop widgets. Loop support is only available in Elementor Pro. With a little bit of creative programming it is currently possible to create a custom loop widget, but it's less from perfect. An API for Elementor Pro users, where the controls necessary for loop elements would be available to create custom loop widgets would be a blessing.

Describe alternatives you've considered.

I can't think of any alternatives because all you need to create a loop widget is already there, but it's not publicly available.

Additional context

As an example, I recently had to build a website containing a timeline. There are several timeline plugins available, but all run against the same problem: The timeline item lay-out was not configurable so I had to deal with what they gave me. A custom loop widget with template support (equal to loop grid) would have given so much joy would have met my and my customers expectations.

I think it should be possible to realize the option to create the option for custom loop widgets. And I guess next to me it would be appreciated by many other developers. I hope you will take this feature in consideration.
