Congrats Elementor Team! Everything is more transparent after the Roadmap live you hosted yesterday! As for the update, I like it. We can now adapt the size of images based on screen dimensions. However, I find that in some cases it is necessary to select a different image (instead of the same with a different aspect ratio which has been generated automatically). For example, if a product cover image looks good on a large screen but doesn't on a small one, sometimes the layout of the image needs to be different. So it would be useful to be able to select an alternative image for that breakpoint. |

Hello @pauserratgutierrez, you can actually do just that! The option to choose different images for different breakpoints is already there, all that was added is the option to choose what size each image will have. Only have the core beta installed. Pro won't install at the moment due to being too new. I have a few questions if that is alright so far:
PS: Love the implementation of cross-site copy and paste. From a quick test you can paste it in to a notepad as JSON and search and replace what you want and make edits and paste back on to the site which is something I have been interested in. |

Hi @perks98, just to add something, and I think @pauserratgutierrez will also like to know that you don't need to select a new background image for each breakpoint, you can still use the desktop image, and just change the size of it. Once an image is set for a higher breakpoint, you can simply change its size if you want, or you can also select a new image and set its size on a per-device basis. |

Excellent update. Thanks to the Elementor team. Since I don't have the conditions to test copy paste between two websites on the live website, I wanted to ask two questions about it. 1- I tested this somehow on localhost. If we just want to transfer the style from widget A to widget B, will this be possible? 2- Are images transferred by copying and pasting between two websites? I tested this, it seems that the images are transferred well, but the SVG icons are not transferred. |

loop Carousel, this is really cool. But as before, there is still no option to customize the background of the arrows.
Also custom position for arrows and navigation points.
These two features are very important for carousels in their own way. Great Elementor team, please keep this feature in mind. Also, please read this issue if possible❤ |

I wanted to let you know that we do have plans to improve the option within Carousels (in general) and anything else that uses the @Joliamendi currently we won't be adding these to this beta, but stay tuned because we will be adding new swiper features in future versions! 😉 |

Nice update! Now that you have added Date & Time conditions to the Popup builder, could you also fix compatibility with additional device breakpoints and display on devices? I opened an issue regarding this in Nov 2021, but it has yet to be resolved, unfortunately. I know you tend not to add additional features to a beta once announced, but I am hoping this is a quick one for your expert devs.

First of all, thanks to the Elementor team for the great features and continuous updates. The container is now in its best condition. If you ask me what is the weakness of the Elementor container, I will say that there are no column gap and row gap options. But in addition, there is a very important bug in the container that manifests itself in certain situations. Last night I was watching the Elementor roadmap video on YouTube. While checking the Mega Manu widget, I noticed that this bug even affects Mega Manu. In the video below, I simulated Megamenu using the new tabs widget. If you look carefully in the video below, the bottom border of the container is placed on the content of the tab widget. This is a really annoying problem. bug.mp4See another example of this bug in the image below. The container borders are placed on the menu cart content.
Tim Elementor, I don't have enough coding knowledge. I don't know how big this bug is and whether it can be solved or not. But please spend some time on it to fix this bug. I hope we get rid of it for good in this version. thanks❤ |

I have reported this before and I really don't know why it is not addressed. The problem is that container borders and handles have a z-index of 9999 by default.
I hope it will be fixed in this version. |

Thanks for the feedback! 🙏 I think we already discussed this in the past, including on dedicated Bug Reports, but I'll try to answer this again here. ⛔ This is not a bug. 😉Container Handles have a higher z-index on purpose, and this was decided after user feedback! Many users reported having difficulty clicking the handles when they were below sticky elements. If I'm not mistaken, it was @Michaelgimii or @79ho3ein that reported this issue as well. Unfortunately, we can't do both things: make the handles appear but also hide them when scrolling. We can, but we won't do it because it would greatly affect performance since we would need to write special event listeners to render the handles via JS, which in my humble opinion is overkill. CSS is much lighter and more performant, and it gets the job done. This doesn't really affect any of the functionality of the editor or the front end, and it really does help to select items that are under sticky ones. I hope you can understand that decision. Please, try to focus on the features of this beta! We want to know about your experience with them! 🙏 |

Hi @Michaelgimii, yes, that's on purpose! There are a few reasons for that, one of them is that we are now using the device clipboard instead of the local browser storage, and we need to verify if what you are pasting is actually an Elementor |

I also think its an unnecessary extra step. Maybe an option to disable the 'are you sure' check when copy pasting is an idea for experienced Elementor users/developers? If people copied somethings else than a json string, can't they just undo the changes? Or are there cases where it can really break a page/website? Or Can Elementor maybe check if there is a json string is in the clipboard and if not deny copy pasting with an error message? |

Hi @momo-fr, just to add. If you set global colors or typography settings, the Copy & Paste feature won't migrate them. The idea is that they catch whatever Global Styles you have on the website you're pasting your content, this way you can keep the content but have your elements adapt to the destination website styles. 😉 I hope this clarifies your question. |

Swiper.js can make really upgrade to many think. Hope elementor team will upgrade all function soon. First of all, before of slide I hope for a new menu drop-down, maybe side-slide open using that's js library. Thx for all update. Me on Elementor since day one. But now in the last 6 month it become really another level. |

General question to the Elementor team. I know the current direction with the loop carousel is to be like the current loop grid but one that slides, would it be possible to not have to select a post type and just have content you can just slide in the carousel? So just define how many boxes you need and like with the nested tabs just drag in the content? |

So if I classify that correctly and everything is going according to plan (as of today) then "Beta Version" is what is currently in the beta, "In Progress" is what comes after that and "Planning" is what comes after that, i.e. it should it appear with 3.13. So hopefully in March or April. |

Hi @perks98, @fabianenzensperger nailed it! 💪 Nested Carousels are in our plans, and they should come sooner than you expect. The Roadmap is updated on a quarterly basis, so the planned features are relatively close to being released. Obviously, we will only release features that we know are stable enough to be used, so things might change, but that's our goal and we will make our best to follow it! 🙂 |

Hi all and first of all, great update! It's going more and more in the right direction.The first thing I noticed in the Loop Carousel is that the gap between elements can not be set for all devices. This is possible with the Loop Grid and it makes no sense not to offer it there as well.
And then another question, is there a kind of offset function like this?
That would be cool, otherwise my wishes were satisfied for now. Finally you can copy back and forth between websites with ease, this was overdue but I'm glad Elementor is finally listening. Also thanks for the very transparent event on Monday, most of it was marketing, but towards the end it got very interesting! PS: I know you won't do this for this beta, but what @Michaelgimii wrote is very important: #21125 (comment) |

Yep, for now, we have no concrete plans for the use of the swiper.js library yet @Michaelgimii. We are only updating it, and discussing internally what will be used from it. This will be based on user feedback, feature requests, and bug reports. I'll make sure to add a note to the devs, so they can evaluate if adding this would be in line with our goals. 😉 |

The only problem i have with this release is the number of fixes. I count 7 fixes while there are more than 500 bugs reported. Even recent things like acf colors not working in the loop builder gets no love while its a recent released feature. |

the current included version is v8.4.5, so not the v9 branch. Before switching to 9 it would be better to use the latest patch release 8.4.7, should be easier to update than a major update |

Exciting update! With Copy & Paste Between Websites, will it be possible for us to create our own 'copy this container design' link/button so that we can share container/section designs on our own website that other people can easily copy to their own websites? This would be awesome and makes sharing layouts so much easier. For example, you can share a container layout with someone on the Elementor Facebook group that asked a question about how to accomplish a certain layout. For template sellers this option would also be really interesting and helpful, it would make selling container designs a whole lot easier. Example: https://theplusaddons.com/elementor-slider-blocks/. When you hover over a section/container a 'copy' button appears on the right. |

Hi @Vossha, I believe you could do it, but I'm not sure if it would work. Since we are using the Clipboard for this feature, theoretically you could try to set a button that would copy the element. But we can't guarantee it will work. To be honest, you can already share a template. All you need to do is to export it. So I'm not sure why you would want to use this feature for this. It's important to note that for the copy/paste work, both websites have to have the same settings, features, and experiments enabled, otherwise it won't work. They also need to be online, otherwise, you won't be able to import images. Global styles for example, if set, won't be transferred from one website to another since the idea is for the overall layout and content to be transferred, and inherit the destination website's styles. |

Well, for ease of use right, to share a container design dead simple. I know you can export templates. I understand settings have to be the same and global styles don't get copied (which is good) but both methods - exporting or copy/pasting - have their use case. Copy/pasting would be nice for a single container design. Template exports are nice for page and complete website designs. Importing template files for only a container is not always wished. For example, sometimes one just wants to add to their existing page design or they want to switch things up and they only need a 'piece of the pie'. They only need a container design for for example a header/hero, a 'block' that explains their process steps or a CTA. How easy would it be to just 'right click copy' and 'right click paste' and done. That's it, no downloading of template files, uploading of template files, just copy/paste. For sharing only container designs copy/paste would be a nice workflow and UX addition. Copy/pasting also keeps it from saving to your template library which is handy as your template library can quickly become a bit overwhelmed when you reuse designs, use the short codes to insert designs in other widgets or when people are experimenting. |

When I set a Box shadow for the loop carousel item, the box shadow is not displayed correctly. The box shadow is visible only in the intermediate distances of the loop items and is not displayed around each loop item.

Hi @Michaelgimii, I think you are mixing the option to set a message for when there are no more posts to load both in "Infinite Scroll" or "Load on Click" options, versus the No Posts Found message available with the Posts widget. These are two separate things and have different purposes.
The second option is not yet customizable by the Loop Builder and will be added in the future. There is already a Feature Request for this option. Please feel free to continue the discussion about this feature there. PS: @Joliamendi, this should answer your issue as well. |

My bit of extra feedback with this update and coming updates based on the roadmap, please add support for using existing theme templates like for Woocommerce products to use the theme shop loop design as part of the new loop carousel widget, maybe create a new widget called product (rather than products) that pulls in any existing Woocommerce design as part of the query when in the loop editor. Plus add these options to the grid and carousel options when products are selected as a type 🙏:

Using the Loop Carousel widget, which can be placed anywhere in the Editor, you can design the Main Item Template of the carousel using the in-place editing canvas and style it any way you’d like. Alternatively, you can design your Main Item Template by going to the Theme Builder and adding a new Loop Item. You can also choose an exiting template, if you’ve already created one for your Loop Grid.
To design the template, you can use any of the inherently dynamic widgets, or use any other widget and assign the relevant dynamic tag to any content, image, or color area. Additionally, you can use any other widget as well, to enhance the design of your template and achieve the desired look.
Once you’ve designed your Main Item Template, you can choose the source you would like to query - whether you want to display content from your posts, custom post types, or WooCommerce.
Once you’ve dragged the Loop Carousel to the page, and chosen or designed the template you would like to use, you can adjust and style all the components of the carousel itself, to determine how you want it to appear on the page, the number of slides to show as it rotates, how fast the carousel should rotate, and more.
Pro Tip: You can use the Main Item Template for your Loop Grid and your Loop Carousel. That way, you can accelerate your workflow and maintain consistency across your website.

Create an In-place Loop Main Item, directly on the page or choose an existing template created in the Theme Builder
Copy & Paste Between Websites
Previously, if you wanted to copy/paste elements between websites, you would need to do so manually, by creating a JSON file, exporting it and then importing it to your next website. Additionally, if you wanted to copy the layout from one website to another, you would have to either export a part of your website, or recreate it on the new website.
With Elementor 3.11, you can instantly copy and paste elements from one website to another. All you have to do is right-click the element you want to copy, and copy it using the action menu. Then, in the Elementor Editor, in the location where you want to paste the element from the original website, right-click and choose - ‘Paste from another site.’
Once you choose the option to ‘Paste from another site’, you will be prompted to click CMD+V or Control+V in your new website, following which the element from the first website will be pasted in your other website.
For a better workflow, and to maintain the consistency of design across your website, an element you paste from another website will adopt the global styles of the website you paste it in, that way you don’t have to adjust it yourself to match your website.

Performance - Responsive Background Image Size
Every image you upload to WordPress is cut to various image sizes (image resolution), including: thumbnail, medium, medium large, full, etc., allowing you to use the appropriate size for different locations. Today, every time you use the Image widget, you can choose what image size you would like to use.
With Elementor 3.11, you will be able to responsivelly adjust the image size of background images as well. The image size you choose can improve performance, but can also affect its resolution.
Each time you use a background image, it will be set to Full by default, but you can adjust this to different sizes per device to improve the performance of your website across devices. It is important to note though, that choosing a smaller image size on larger devices may impact the quality of the image.
The Size control, which was already available for the background image, which controlled the CSS settings for the image size (Auto, Cover, Contain, and Custom) has been renamed to Display Size.
How to Test It:
[Pro] Popup Builder - New Advanced Rule for Date and Time Range
Previously, in order to display a popup on your website, you would have to manually activate it for the time range in which it should display, and deactivate it when you wanted to stop it. For example, if you had a Valentine's Day campaign and you wanted to display a popup to increase conversion, for the week of Valentine, you would have to manually set the popup to display, then you could use one of the available triggers and rules to determine how often visitors would see it, and on what pages, etc. and finally, you would have to deactivate the popup when you no longer wanted it.
With this update, you can use the new date and time range, available in the Advanced Rules of the popup, to automatically schedule the popup to appear during a specific time range. You can also choose whether you want to display the popup based on the local time of your website in WordPress, or your visitor’s local time zone.

Carousel - Upgrade Swiper Library Feature
Another update available as an Experiment in Elementor 3.11 is an infrastructural update to the Swiper Library. To activate the experiment, you’ll need to go to Elementor → Settings → Features and activate ‘Upgrade Swiper Library.’ The Swiper Library is used to facilitate the settings available in the carousels in Elementor, including the Loop Carousel, Image Carousel, Slides, Media Carousel, and Testimonial Carousel.
As part of this update, no additional visible or functional changes will be noticed aside from upgrading the infrastructure from version 5.3.6 of the Swiper Library to 8.4.5. This upgrade will enable us to introduce new settings and capabilities to all carousels in the future.
Since this is an infrastructural update, it is important that third-party addons, developers, or anyone who used custom code in the carousel ensure that everything works as expected with the new Swiper Library. This is also the reason this is being introduced as an experiment - to enable you to review and make the necessary changes, before activating this update on your website.
