Trying to install, but stuck on "elementary login:"

I'm trying to install the OS 7 Horus (alongside windows), but when I boot it's stuk on the 'elementary login:' screen.
here I read that you just have to wait a while, but I've waited +/- 10 minutes and still nothing is happening.

• I tried to boot through virtualBox, and it directs me to the next steps almost immediately. But not when I want to boot it from my own device/laptop.
• Safe boot is disabled.
• I use Etcher.

When I choose for 'Try or install elementary (safe graphics)' option it works as expected.
