The solution is to (1) get internet connectivity somehow, whether it be an ethernet cable or bluetooth adapter, (2) install the bcmwl-kernel-source driver through AppCenter, and (3) then reboot the machine. |

Hi
I just installed Elementary OS on my old Macbook Pro Early 2011 for my kids to make them familiar with computers and Linux. It worked quite well with most of the hardware and performs much faster but my problem is that it is not recognizing wifi module of the laptop. It is not showing any option for wifi.
The network controller is Broadcom Inc. BCM4331 802.11a/b/g/n (rev02)
Wi-Fi:
Type IEEE80211
BSD Device Name: en1
Configuration method: DHCP
Is there any way to get connected to Wifi? It used to work just well on mac os.
Thanks
