Local Notifications

Using react-native-push-notification package:

1. Install the package:

npm install --save react-native-push-notification

or

yarn add react-native-push-notification

2. Usage:

import PushNotification from 'react-native-push-notification';

// ...

PushNotification.localNotification({
  /* Android Only Properties */
  channelId: 'your-channel-id', // (required) channelId, if the channel doesn't exist, notification will not trigger.
  // ... other properties

  /* iOS and Android properties */
  title: "My Notification Title", // (optional)
  message: "My Notification Message", // (required)
  // ... other properties
});

Push Notifications

• Using react-native-firebase package (for Firebase Cloud Messaging):
• Install the packages:

npm install @react-native-firebase/app
npm install @react-native-firebase/messaging

or

yarn add @react-native-firebase/app
yarn add @react-native-firebase/messaging

• Usage:

import messaging from '@react-native-firebase/messaging';

// ...

// Request permission to receive notifications
