How to remove a contributor from showing in the contributor list on the repository page

I want to know how to remove the contributor from the contributor list that is shown on the repo page although the person had been removed from the contributor

1. Go to the repository page
2. Navigate to the repository settings
3. Manage contributors (In the left-hand sidebar of the repository settings page, scroll down and click on "Manage access" or "Collaborators & teams")
4. Remove the contributor
5. Confirm the removal

It is done but it is not removed from the list where the contributors are displayed on the repo page

Then please go to the repository settings and select the default branch. Within the branch protection settings, navigate to the "Contributors" or "Collaborators" section and disable the option. Save the changes to apply the modifications.
