If someone clones a private repository to their personal GitHub account, is that clone also private? What information I can find about this seems to suggest that's the case, but is there a definitive answer? In my own clone of a private repo, it tells me I can't change the visibility but doesn't show me what the visibility is.
More specifically, someone asked if it's okay for them to clone a private repo for them to work on changes via their account. Is that considered standard practice, or if not what should they do? The original repo is in an organizational account, in case that makes any difference.
