My github page doesn't work

I've tried to set up a custom domain and I accidentally set up one I don't posess. Now I can't undo it so that my page has the default address once again. Below is the option that should reset site address to default one (empty Custom Domain field).

• Clone your Github page repo on your local machine.
• Delete old repo.
• Push to a new repo with a different name and initiate a Github page on that.

well over there you will get the option to remove custom domain just as you showed in the screenshot or just like @thelaycon said you can clone the repo on your local machine then delete the old repo from your repos and then in your local repo which is on your computer you should initialize it then push it again on your profile and then you can setup the custom domain again!
