I usually click on the notification-indicator (button on the top right) if I have unread notifications and then open all unread notifications in new tabs. When I am finished and closed all but the last browser tab and navigate to different pages in this tab, the notification-indicator still shows the blue circle and claims that I still have unread notifications. However, there are no unread notifications; if I click on the notification-indicator, https://github.com/notifications?query=is%3Aunread shows that all of them are read. If I explicitly reload the website, the blue circle disappears but if I only click buttons to navigate to different pages, it stays. I perceive the notification-indicator not automatically updating as a bad user experience.
