Hey there! 👋 Thanks for posting in the GitHub Community, @makeitso4u ! We're happy you're here. You are more likely to get a useful response if you are posting your question in the applicable category. The Accessibility category is a place for our community to discuss and provide feedback on the digital accessibility of GitHub products. Digital accessibility means that GitHub tools, and technologies, are designed and developed so that people with disabilities can use them. I've gone ahead and moved this to the correct category for you. Good luck! |

It's been a long time since I visited GitHub the last time (and I have never been been a frequent visitor), and now I immediately got "You have exceeded a secondary rate limit" when I tried to search the GitHub page of a certain piece of software. I'm sorry if this is not a useful comment, but I wanted to bring up that this isn't happening because of visiting the site a lot. |

Same here. This evening, like many other days, I did open github on Safari (macOS Sequoia), typed a keywod on the search field and immediately I received the "Whoa there!". Clearly a bug on github side, considering that it was triggered by one simple search. I get the "whoa" exclusively on iDevices (iPad and MacBook Pro mostly). Also I get the same at work, where I use several MBPs for software development, under different domain names (including government domains). Could it be some incompatibility with the Apple browsers? |

typical pattern:
step 1: Micro$oft takes over
step 2: Disaster.

I'm not using apple products. It's
always possible that there are multiple issues with the same symptoms, but apple isn't part of the equation for me.

Still experiencing this issue for the past few weeks and just encountered this a few moments ago which has finally caused me to leave my nice warm comfort of anonymity and venture out into the scary world of forums to meekly say, "Hey, I'm experiencing this too, mates". So, no, not fixed. |
