(Obsolete) SB Lern - Release 5.1

The revised dates for 5.1 are as follows:

The Lern team has been occupied with interrupts to support the CSP related Sunbird changes for most of 5.1 Sprint 01. This has taken a significant chunk of time, and the scope of 5.1 has been revised in order to ensure that the items that are being taken up can be completed. The roadmap now has the revised (reduced) list of items for 5.1 : https://lern.sunbird.org/learn/product-roadmap

The following items have been descoped from the earlier plan for release 5.1:

Project: Enabling ease of adoption
Task: Sunbird Lern Installer - design and dependencies (LR-100)
Allow a potential adopter to install SB Lern in an easy fashion. Release 5.1 will cover the design for the installer, and identify/ resolve dependencies that need to be addressed as part of this effort.

Project: Enabling ease of adoption
Task: Support for configurable keyspaces (LR-102)
Make keyspaces configurable in the SB Lern code - so as to enable connections to to shared instances of Cassandra, ES, Postgres etc.

Project: Enabling ease of adoption
Task: Move out custom configurations from the Sunbird repo (LR-123)
This relates to the custom configurations for one of the largest Lern adopters - Diksha

Project: Internal BB process formulation
Task: Process for Test case automation and API Documentation
Evaluate 5.0 release process for adoption of Postman and Newman as tools for test case automation and API documentation

Project: Enabling ease of adoption
Task: Creation of knowledge and marketing collateral
Create marketing collateral for SB Lern - Lern Primer, Lern Digital Experience

The Lern team has been occupied over Sept & Oct '2022 with CSP related changes for the Lern Building Block.
What was originally envisioned to be the development period for release 5.1 has been taken up in this process.
Hence, release 5.1 for Lern will be planned against revised dates - there will be a new post on the discussion forum relating to the revised 5.1 release - dates and scope.
