Check out this recent announcement in my tweet: https://twitter.com/FangQ/status/1762329042630414733
The NeuroJSON CouchDB server prototype was previously hosted on a 24-core dual-Xeon server with 256GB DDR3 memory and 1GBE ethernet uplink. Last week, we migrated it to a newly installed rack system dedicated for my lab - with a 64-core Threadripper CPU, 256GB DDR4 memory, 4TB NVME cache, and more importantly 10GBE network uplink. This should provide plenty bandwidth and disk speed for providing stable data dissemination service to many simultaneous downloads.
Using CouchDB's automatic replication feature, the previous server along with another server provides full replication and backup to the entire database, providing high redundancy.
We are ready to share good neuroimaging data! bring them on!
