PR being rejected when test cases were totally fine #1004
-
Good Evening @aslams2020 I have worked on test cases on an issue on the project twinTrim. It took me 2 days to write the test cases after lots of try and errors. the test cases were running fine on all the systems. I requested the mentor to check the workflow once, but she raised a dummy PR to prove that the workflow is fine, but updating the workflow and reverting it would only have taken 5 minutes. I had no intention of indulging in pointless debates, but I don't why she tagged Aslam who is a code team member when I am just focusing on looking for other projects and issues to contribute and learn. I joined GSSoC thinking looking to learn grow and collaborate in this beginner friendly environment but this same mentor has demotivated me twice with her actions. I request the concerned authority to look into this matter, because as a beginner I have been facing a lot of issues in contributing. |

Hi @tannuiscoding,
I myself told the mentor to tag me in that PR because, I wanted to review it.
The reply you earlier got from the mentor was not meant to disappoint you..I apologies for that, i discussed with the mentor and She also totally understands your concerns..
In this program we are here to encourage our new beginner contributors, mentoring them to learn the way open source works.
