Atlas Windows 11 Pro (64bit) Digital registration failed after a clean (re)install #1230

Update: The license key showing in Belarc is not working to activate the Fresh install of Windows 11 Pro. I can revert to Windows 10 Pro from an image backup. I am now concerned that the incoherence in the Microsoft Account saved digital key library will be an issue again. This old laptop was initially with Windows 8, it might have been the Home version I don't remember, I upgraded it to Windows 10 Pro over 8 years ago and I was counting on the Microsoft Digital key to keep it up. Is it typical for Microsft Account to change the OS version in the Device library? Solution: The activation issue was related to the Region choice. It surprised me since I expected Windows OS activation to be independent from the region, unlike MS Office. |

Hi,
My old Lenovo Ideapad z710 (RAM 16Gb) had a Windows 11 Pro 64bit 23H2 clean installation with AtlasOS v04.0 that worked initially. I started over with another clean Install, this second time by applying a relocation of User folders to a secondary 1Tb HDD swapped in with the Optical drive.
Windows 11 Pro failed to activate digitally and displayed Error 0x87E108C6 , with a message suggesting to try again later - it's been almost a day of retrying. The motherboard was not changed and the Windows 11 version is correctly set to Pro.
This secondary 1Tb HDD appears as Disk 0 D: Drive and the OS is on C: 500Gb SDD drive Disk 1. It induces a Boot loop, meaning I must select the single boot option with F12 at each restart/boot-up.
The clean installation was done by booting from a USB thumb drive with Rufus, which was customized with the options to remove requirements for TPM 2.0, an online Microsoft account, disable Bitlocker, and with the option to create a Local Account (by editing the unattended.xml saved by Rufus).
The Region was set to English World in Rufus for the installation, but the Original Region of my system was the US, and now I'm in Europe/France. It was a way to trick the installation into minimizing bloatware, which I realize will also be tackled by Atlas.
I paused at section 5 Installing AtlasOS" step 5, step 6 Microsoft Store update failed, since I haven't connected to my Microsoft account yet. The digital Activation troubleshooting logically points to logging in my Microsoft account.
Questions:
Before continuing with the ATLAS installations, should I resolve the Windows 11 digital activation issue?
Will logging in with my Microsoft Account at this step is fine and not affect the efficacy of bloatware reduction and control on my fresh Clean Install?
Should the Region "World" be switched to "US" or "France" before trying to digitally activate Windows 11 again and/or finish Atlas install?
On a side note, the Bootloop is lined with my 1Tb drive and the Lenovo Ideapad and was documented in Forums. Workarounds are F12 or a fresh install on a drive with MBR Legacy instead of UEFI. I could image the 1Tb onto an od Sata 80Gb drive which does not trigger bootloop.
Thank you for your help clarifying these points before I can proceed.
