DbDataSource implementation #329
Comments
No milestone yet planned for this feature. If developers want it, be sure to upvote the top post with a thumbs up emoji. |
@alexkeh is there another place to upvote on the feature itself outside of the samples repo? |
@davidfowl You can also request and vote for features on the Oracle ODP.NET forum, on our Twitter handle, or create a formal Oracle SR making the feature request. However, this GitHub location has evolved to be the most popular since many developers have GitHub accounts. |
Once it gets implemented, AspNetCore.HealthChecks.Oracle (a popular health check package for Oracle with more than 2 milion downloads) should start using it too. I've created Xabaril/AspNetCore.Diagnostics.HealthChecks#2122 to track it. |
We found a last minute issue with the OracleDataSource feature. We're pulling it from the 23.6 release for now. We're evaluating how best to fix the bug. We're hoping that we can release this feature as an update on top of 23.6. |
I would like to know if you will implement DbDataSource and if there is a milestone for this.
