I am a user of ddns-script to run a home server. However, my network seems to be banned from DroneBL frequently enough to be an annoyance for the occasional proxy ran on similar residential IPs in my area which get rotated pretty frequently by ISPs. Being banned prevents me at least once a week not be able to access Libera.Chat & OFTC IRC servers from my IRC gateway by subscribing to DroneBL. What I would like to do is run something like https://dronebl.org/downloads/dronebl-remove.sh to remove my IP from their blocklist if/when my IP address changes, & I would like to do that without needing to write a full update script as the current low-config option has worked well for years… I just want an additional feature.
Please consider giving up MS GitHub or offering a non-proprietary, non-US-corporate-controlled mirror for this free software project. I wish to delete this Microsoft account in the future, but I need more projects like this to support alternative methods to send patches & contribute. ↩
