Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe

There is currently no standard way provided by OpenSearch to perform sorting based on semantic versioning.

Describe the solution you'd like

Since version 7.10 of Elasticsearch, a new type of mapping specific to semantic versioning has been introduced that natively solves this type of scenario. I even wonder why this field type was not included at the time of the fork.
