What is the type of request?

Repository Management

Details of the request

Please create a new repository in the opensearch-project org with the name opensearch-remote-metadata-sdk. Initial maintainers should be @dbwiddis, @arjunkumargiri, and @dhrubo-os.

Additional information to support your request

This repository will host the multitenant metadata client which currently resides in the feature/multi_tenancy branch of ML Commons, and will be consumed by ml-commons, flow-framework, and possibly alerting plugins among others.

When does this request need to be completed?

ASAP. This is to support refactoring work which must be completed for 2.19 release, so the earlier it is available, the more time we have to migrate.

Notes

Track the progress of your request here: https://github.com/orgs/opensearch-project/projects/208/views/33.
