Move cursor to a new position with distance and bearing

is it possible to move the cursor from my position to an new position with distance and bearing? Or create a new point with a prompt form with fields "distance", "bearing". Bearings in true north (or grid north). Go to coordinates in search will work, but not with a defined distance/bearing. Or perhaps with a plugin?
