Need support for the following to bring up dynamic tunnel between DUT and Ixia

  1. add ip-over-udp stack so Ixia can both encapsulate and decapsulate packet
  2. add loopback interface support so overlay src and destination IP addresses can be configured on them
  3. add support for IGP convergence testing between DUT & Ixia. We may use VLAN sub interfaces but we could simply configure different IPs on multiple interfaces on Ixia (& corresponding DUT ports).
  4. It is not part of any RFC or draft so far.

This is a big ticket item and needs prioritization for a future quarter. I've also replied to Kiran KL.
