Get security working on selftests, and add "quick", "long", "medium" options? #47

The self tests, now in Python instead of perl (the originals), do not test with security, but they should be able to do that.

Also, it'd be nice if we had a way to say "do quick tests", or "do full (as slow/long as needed) tests", etc. Right now, the full tests can run from 1 to 3 minutes (depending on system load, etc), so this might not be an issue yet.
