Hi, I was trying to tidy my omnivore notes on obsidian and noticed that after deleting some files locally, after syncing those files were not being restored.
Is there a cache or some configuration on obsidian that marks some notes as downloaded and as such can no longer be downloaded?

I cannot recreate this problem. Everytime I delete a file locally and execute the "Resync all articles" command, the note is created again.

I can't either, what's the wrong?
Only the first sync will create the folders and files
Then it doesn't work

I found the same question now
he noticed that, you have to change your sync filter firstly, then you can sync once successfully

It's now a bug, and I can reproduce it steadily. Just choose sync filter to be "in:all" and don't change it
Luckily, there exist a method to avoid this bug now.
