@brendankearney
Copy link

i have installed mjpg-streamer on a Asus Eee netbook running a dated version of Fedora (F28), and cannot get mjpg-streamer to run. it throws the following error:

[root@netbook ~]# mjpg-streamer
cannot read symlink //sys//sys/class/mem/null/subsystem: No such file or directory
child exited with status 1

i have set the connections per the install instructions, as shown below

[root@netbook ~]# snap connections |grep mjpg
camera mjpg-streamer:camera :camera manual
network-bind mjpg-streamer:network-bind :network-bind -

where is the symlink being read from, and how is it being buggered? there is no /sys/sys/ path, which seems to point to an issue/
