[Wrn] [msgs.cc:1793] Conversion of sensor type[imu] not suppported.

this issue occurs when loading the iCub SDF model icub-gazebo/icub/icub.sdf which is he one associated to the models without hands. The issue should also occur with the model with hands. It's actually a Gazebo gzclient bug while trying to parse info about each model for display purposes, but it doesn't know how to parse info about those sensors yet, as explained in the bitbucket srcsim repo (Issue #68).
